Coqui TTS: open source speech synthesis for everyone

Converting text into good-quality synthetic speech was until recently a privilege of large companies with expensive resources. Coqui TTS changes this by bringing professional tools into the open source ecosystem.

The library started as a fork of Mozilla TTS, a previous abandoned project, and takes it to a higher level: simple pip installation, clear documentation, ready-to-use pre-trained models, and support for over 1100 languages and dialects.

Developers and researchers can now train custom voices, integrate TTS into their own applications, and contribute to improving the project without licensing costs.
