Notion AI alpha: AI inside the tool you already work in

Two weeks before ChatGPT, Notion — the app where millions write notes, wikis and company docs — opens an alpha of an AI built into pages. It's called Notion AI.

The important difference: it's not "go to another site to ask a chatbot". It's hitting Space inside your page and saying "summarize this", "translate this paragraph", "draft an email from these notes". Everything stays in your document.

It's one of the first examples of a pattern that will dominate 2023: AI not as a separate destination, but as a function inside the app you already use. Office, Google Docs, Slack will follow.
