ChatGPT Enterprise: unlimited GPT-4, locked-down data
In one sentence OpenAI launches the enterprise ChatGPT plan: unlimited GPT-4, 32K context, advanced data analysis included, SOC 2, customer data never used for training. Reply to IT concerns.
Eight months after ChatGPT, OpenAI packages a product for companies. A lot of large enterprises were panicking: employees pasting code or confidential data into ChatGPT, exfiltrating IP without realizing. Samsung, JP Morgan, Apple had banned ChatGPT internally.
The enterprise pitch addresses exactly that: customer data is never used to train the models, conversations are encrypted (SOC 2, AES-256), and there's an admin panel with SSO, user management, audit logs. GPT-4 is available with no rate limits, 32K context, and advanced data analysis (formerly Code Interpreter) is included.
Pricing isn't public (negotiated). First announced customers: Block, Canva, Carlyle, PwC, Estée Lauder. For enterprises it's the signal to re-allow ChatGPT — controlled this time.
