Two months after introducing "GPTs" (custom versions of ChatGPT, configurable without code), OpenAI opens a public store. It is a sort of App Store for tiny AI assistants: there are GPTs for designing logos, analyzing PDFs, learning languages, finding recipes.
To publish you just need a paid plan and to follow content guidelines. OpenAI also promises a revenue-sharing program for top creators, but it is not active at launch.
In practice anyone can "build" a small specialized assistant without programming: give instructions in plain English, upload some knowledge PDFs, and you have a GPT. It is the first real attempt at a consumer AI-agent marketplace.
