It doesn't aim to beat ChatGPT as a general assistant. It aims to do three things companies need well: answer questions over their own documents (RAG), use external tools in multiple steps, and speak 10 languages including Italian.
Weights are downloadable for free but only for non-commercial use. Business use goes through the paid API or Azure.
