Kling 1.5: videos up to 3 minutes with camera motion and lip sync

Kling is the video generator from Kuaishou, China's leading short-video platform. While OpenAI's Sora remained in limited access, Kling offered similar capabilities with much more open access.

Version 1.5 brings three significant updates: videos can last up to 3 minutes (a leap from the standard 10-30 seconds), camera control lets you specify pans, tilts, zooms, and cinematic movements, and lip synchronization makes speaking characters more believable.

Motion Brush is the most interesting tool for creative users: you "paint" areas of the image and indicate movement direction, getting controlled partial animations without having to describe everything in the prompt.
