Suno is a web service where you write a description like "sad country ballad about a mountain town" and in 30 seconds you get a real song with lyrics, vocals, instruments, verse-chorus structure.
Version 4, released in November, makes a quality leap: vocals sound much more natural (less "robotic auto-tune"), songs go up to 4 minutes, and for the first time you can download separate stems (vocals one side, instruments the other).
For the first time artists, creators, and hobbyists use Suno to produce background music, jingles, full demos. It also opens a major lawsuit with the music majors over unauthorized training data.
